The Challenge Course is the historic standard bearer of Outward Bound Sabah. It is designed to provide a unique personal lifetime experience and an opportunity to take on adventurous and extraordinary challenges.

 

The Challenge Course helps you to discover, develop, and achieve your potential in four areas – intellectual, emotional, physical, and social. In stepping out of your normal environment and trying new challenging and trying new challenging activities, you will find out more about what you can really do. By overcoming your self-perceived limitations you will find out that you are capable of far more than you thought possible and that contributing towards effective teamwork achieves quicker success in any task.

 

By partaking in a wide range of adventure activities and spending a small amount of time working on community service project participants learn the value of communication, teamwork, and co-operation. Through a series of communication workshop and group initiative tasks you will learn to co-operate with and understand people from different backgrounds and make new friendship. Although essentially an individual challenge, you will share this adventure with others in a close social group.

 

Completing a Challenge Course is a great achievement. You will be equipped with a new concept of yourself and will be ready to face your future with renewed sense of control, self-reliance, resourcefulness and determination to succeed. Although the structure of the course is somewhat physically and mentally demanding, it is within the capabilities of most people. You need not to be an expert paddlers or marathon runner, just determined. If you come with a positive attitude to try everything to the best of your ability you will experience the exhilarating feeling of being alive and active in the outdoors.

CROCKER RANGE EXPEDITION  

 

 4 Day An extended expedition experience drawing on and improving further the strength of the group and their support for each other enabling individuals to push themselves beyond their perceived limits.
