The Outward Bound Trust of Sabah is a non-profit organization which was registered on 6 February 1985 in the State of Sabah.  It is managed by a Board of Trustees who have, at least, have four Council meeting and one Annual General meeting per annum. All Directors are volunteers and since the opening of the school have devoted time and efforts for the development of the organization. They select and nominate the Executive Director who is in charge of the management of the school.

The current Executive Director of the school is Datuk Gabriel William, J.P (far right). The main focus of his activities at Outward Bound Sabah has been to further develop and improve the educational process of the activities as well as to further promotes the brand locally. There are currently 23 staff including 12 Instructors who are its key operations staff.
